God is GOOD

I’ve spent the last few days praying and reflecting on the nearly dying and choking thing. I’m incredibly grateful, and as a teacher, I believe God has given me a powerful message from it.

First, there is no way I was saved by anything other than God’s own hand. No way, not possible. 🙃

I had maybe 20-30 seconds of air left and *suddenly* the blockage was ripped out of my throat. Nothing I could have done would have saved me. Nothing. Zip. Nada.

With that being said, this is where the power in the story sits.

I was calm.
I was still.
I was at peace.

I had zero fear or anxiety.

God intervened. AND, I never even thought to pray!

With everything in my life I simply trust God to the extent, that in that super quick and terrible moment, I didn’t even think to ask. 😬

Yet. How often are we STUCK in: terrible jobs; rotten relationships; financial dilemmas; health issues; family drama; marriage chaos; or some other terrible situation that we can’t get out of …. and we sit in a place of panic or unrest.

Peeps. It’s NOT up to you to get YOU out of that horrible situation. In fact, many times GOD has worked hard to set you in that place where you can finally come to the end of yourself and realize it’s not up to you and your own abilities.

It’s up to GOD and HIS abilities. By covenant alone, it’s up to God to provide His strength, resources, and abilities.

Most believers operate from some level of faith, but they fail to operate from any level of trust.

Belief = faith + trust

Faith is for the unseen promise. Trust is for the SEEN difficulties while waiting for the promise.

Sometimes God is working so hard on changing us from within …. when we so badly want GOD to just change the circumstances.

Peeps. We must become, unshakable.

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.”
Psalm 125:1
