Ever discipline a child for their betterment and hear, “that’s not fair!”
Much the same, as The Lord grows us towards maturity, often our response is, “that’s not fair!”
I’m sorry. But fairness isn’t a biblical construct.
Yet.
Surrender
Selflessness
Self Sacrifice
And faith.
Are our biblical models.
What we deem to be unfair, is usually our path to more of kingdom things and to the deeper things of God.
Our minds and hearts must be renewed to see situations as opportunities to grow instead of attacks of unfairness.
In that place of testing your thoughts, you will discover the true will of God.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
