Christ In You

Today someone posted on their page that they find the term “Christ in you” as odd and they just can’t relate to it. And that’s ok. We are where we are.

But. Like always, I went to the word.

And, as always, the Bible amazes me. The small things, the “ah ha” light bulb moments, and the major revelatory things.

Well. Again. God flattened me.

Peep Colossians 1:27-28:

  • Verse 27 refers to “Christ In You”
  • Verse 28 refers to maturity.

Until you realize Christ dwells in you, you can’t move into spiritual maturity. To deny Christ in you, is to deny absolutely everything you are purposed to be.

In fact, as I write this The Lord reminded me, it’s more than just Christ in you. It’s the Spirit of Christ or The Holy Spirit in you. It’s HIS SPIRIT IN US. And, that Spirit not only dwells in our inner man, but also in our hearts through faith (Eph 3:16-17).

“To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:27-28
