I have an earth shattering confession.
Ready.
I no longer consider myself a grace teacher. I just don’t.
Don’t get me wrong, I teach grace - and grace is the large undercurrent of so many kingdom based principles. Without an accurate understanding of grace, we are lost as effective sons and daughters.
But, I consider myself a centrist. What I teach, is what I’ve found to be the center of ALL the streams and brands of Christianity. I’d go as far as to say there are some positions I hold, that I’ve seen few others even gravitate towards.
Not every stream is wrong.
Not every stream is 100% correct.
And, many brands quarrel when they are really saying the same thing.
From the middle ground, I teach both the kindness and severity of God towards all of humanity (Romans 11:22).
God isn’t all kindness.
God isn’t all severity and wrath.
God is ALL of both, to believer and unbeliever.
We need the full council of God, not dogmatic grace sound bytes.
