Remember, our own character isn’t a prerequisite for operating in great power. Yes, even the unsaved can operate in His power.
The 12 disciples (including Judas) were given authority and the power upon prior to the cross (Luke 9:1). And, all except Judas, were given the eternal salvation of the within when Jesus breathed on them in the locked room after the cross (John 20:22).
Yes. Judas was unsaved and operated in the power of the upon. 😂😅😊
So, we can now understand the meaning of this verse:
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23
Yes. There are ministers of darkness, agents of the devil, who disguise themselves as servants of righteousness (2 Cor 11:15).
Yes. There are ministers of righteousness who either are double agents working 2 opposite kingdoms or who simply exploit the gospel for their self gain.
Healings. Prophetic words. Deliverances. Salvations. Sadly, all just notches on their bedposts without caring one bit about the people of God.
The Lord will even use darkness to advance the light … but The Lord’s preferred route to true power is to: love others; hunger for the kingdom; and to transform into the image of Christ (Romans 8:29).
