RIP

I’m opposed to the burden of religion, but I’m more opposed to the burden of self. For you died - Col 3:3. It’s just a basic fact.

To me, our co death is the very epicenter of the gospel. If we never understand our death at the cross, we will never learn how to be alive here and now. 😵‍💫

Dead people don’t worry, want, need, complain, argue, talk back, ask questions, negotiate with evil, or sin. Why? They are too busy being about The Father’s business.

You died. You have been made alive. And you are alive in covenant with Christ to bear fruit for the kingdom. Those who are dead to the old self, and alive in the new self are able to fully draw upon His grace.

Huh?

You don’t join the army and buy your own gear. The army supplies you with all you need for your mission.

Therefore, GRACE is full supply. Truly, because dead people don’t provide for themselves - everything we need to bear fruit for Jesus is freely provided. But if we operate from any place outside our co death and full reliance on God, God on some level literally opposes us.

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6

If you think you provide for you. Well. That’s pride.

To RECEIVE the provision of his grace, we must flow in humility out of the new self. Yes. We must first embrace our death to fully and freely live out our call as the New Creation.

Peeps. The more we understand and live from our death, the more fruit will hang from our limbs. And, the more peace, favor, provision, and joy you will walk in.

You died. Rest in Peace.
