Faith and Sports

I was thinking about faith and sports today.

Whenever I record a New York Rangers game on my DVR, I usually know the score 👉 before I actually get to sit down and watch the game. So, if the Rangers are down by say 3 goals with 5 minutes left to play, and I 👉 KNOW that they win the game ... there isn’t any stress.

Now. If God tells or shows you something, you have the final score. No matter what your eyes actually see, you are well able to rest in knowing the outcome in advance.

Unless. You want to worry. Then, you are no longer partnering in what you were shown, rather you are now hindering it. Check out what happened to the Israelites and the promised land. 😂

When you have the final score in advance, trusting outcomes is easy.

Matthew 9:28-29 (ESV) 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.”
