The Father was about to come judge the nation of Israel for rejecting the Messiah.

Jesus was crucified and He knew The Temple would fall, the people were to be massacred and scattered, and that Jerusalem would be trampled under control of the Gentiles for the next 1900+ years.
As Jesus took His last breath, Jesus was thinking about the terrible and painful things that were about to happen to his friends, family, and nay sayers.
