To be a cessationist is easy. Yet. To believe as a son takes effort, focus, practice, risk, faith, and trust.
Friends.
It's impossible for God to lie (Numbers 23:19).
It's impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
It's impossible to please God walking in the flesh (Romans 8:8).
All things are possible for those who believe (Mat 19:26).
Those who believe will do the SAME exact works and greater (John 14:12).
Seems to me, we just need to believe what He's already said is true. Faith is supplied by God, trust is our response while leaning into what’s been given.
