The mind has thoughts. The heart has thoughts. Together, these thoughts of the heart and mind comprise your soul.
When the heart and mind aren’t operating in union towards the things of God ...... that’s double mindedness or being double souled. This brings death in our walk.
Flat out. Folks. This must change in the hearts of believers.
Ready or not. The time is now.
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the *thoughts* and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13
But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?" Matthew 9:4
“Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the *purposes* of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.” 1 Cor 4:5
