I’ve scrolled Facebook.
I’ve peeked at the news.
I’ve talked with friends.
I’ve seen great prophets apologize.
I’ve prayed. A lot.
I’ve seen the arguments.
I’ve seen the vitrol.
I’ve seen the fear.
I’ve seen the division.
Frankly. I see the body cannibalizing itself.
Left. Right. Middle. Believer. Unbeliever.
I see the heart of man exposed on all fronts, and all I really want is for God to use me right there. At the heart.
I’m not here for me. No matter. I choose faith.
The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.
