More

So, if I haven't made you crazy, stupid mad yet ... today WILL be the day!

I will open by saying MANY believers think they have been baptized in the Holy Spirit simply because they speak in tongues, that's just not true. And because they think they have all they are going to get .... they stop PURSUING God and stop receiving the MORE of God.

Me, I was speaking in tongues and seeing people healed BEFORE I was baptized in the Holy Spirit (last March). In fact, I was given a GIFT of healing over 20 years ago - long before I knew anything about doctrine, scripture, or church.

There are 2 separate anointings:

  1. Within
  2. Upon

The very moment you believe from your heart, you are FUSED to heaven. Your spirit and the Holy Spirit are now ONE, you are a NEW CREATION (2 Cor 5:17).

You have WITHIN you access to all of heaven, giftings can be activated, and the same power sits inside YOU that raised Christ from the dead. You have received eternal salvation, and your spirit has now been made ALIVE. You are now forever, and this WITHIN is for YOU. (Col 2:13, 1 Cor 6:17; Eph 2:5; Phil 2:1)

UPON, is the baptism of the Holy Spirit and POWER (Acts 1:8; 10:38). This anointing is for OTHERS and the work of ministry. AND, you can receive multiple baptisms in the Holy Spirit. See Acts 4 where Peter and John (w some friends) receive again.

Here is the thing, this really shouldn't insult anyone because Paul never settled. He was CONSTANTLY seeking to know Jesus more and the power of the resurrection. Paul constantly was seeking MORE of God to flow through him, for others (Phil 3:10-14).

Too many believers, either out of ignorance or unbelief, sit in a comfort zone and settle for less than they can receive. Yet, many others refuse to move off their duff until they are convinced they have all they are going to get.

  • Both views are anti faith.
  • Both views are anti christ.

Like it or not, we are under a law of faith (Ro 3:27-31) and the righteous will LIVE by this faith. Yes. All we do is fueled by faith working itself through love, and we walk out that which God will work out.

Folks, the more we receive our death, the more we can receive life. Jesus didn't settle, nor should we.
