Peter wasn’t God. Peter was a fisherman by trade. He was no different than us, and was empowered by both the same grace and same Jesus. Moreover, Peter was certainly no more or less messed up than I am!
Peter told a guy who was paralyzed for 8 years. “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; rise and make your bed.” And immediately he rose. Acts 9:34
Peter said to a DEAD little girl, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. Acts 9:40
Folks. These aren’t long prayers. These aren’t hours of wailing and wrestling.
These are short, simple, power filled breaths of faith.
My prayer for 2021, is to see healing with a simple command, “be healed.”
