Push

We have this false notion that if we pray once or twice and that if we don't see immediate results .... we tell ourselves that God isn't going to answer that prayer.

The truth is that we KEEP coming at it over and over, for this is how our faith grows.

“The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could SAY (legō - imperfect active) to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” Luke 17:5-6

The Greek word legō, is in the imperfect active tense which means it happened in the past, but has an ongoing action.

Which means, you say it in faith again, again, and again!

Remember, the mustard seed is the SMALLEST type of seed but becomes a majestic tree. YET, the mustard seed is really a plant that should only become a shrub or bush! Yes, the mustard seed refuses to be set by limitation and grows BEYOND innate capabilities.

YES, the mustard seed pushes through and persists to become greater than what's possible!

Make that choice. Push. Persist. Become more than what others around you have settled for.
