Son of Man

Every miracle Jesus did.
Every person healed.
Every demon cast out.
Every resurrection encounter.
Every life touched.
Every disciple recruited and grown.
Every sermon taught.
Every ministerial moment.
Every insult received.
Every tear shed.
Every betrayal weathered.
Every temptation withstood.
Every threat burdened or shouldered.
Every storm stopped.
Every physical threat evaded.
Every enemy or hater blessed.
Every woman at the well moment.
Every ounce of pain on the cross.

Was done, as a man.

Jesus refers to Himself over and over as The Son of Man - which literally means human, or messiah.

Yes. Jesus humbled Himself by choosing to strip off His own divinity - and walk out His earthly mission as a human being, not as God.

That makes Jesus our role model.
That makes Jesus our reachable target.
That makes us containers awaiting His own power.

Folks. The more we embrace our co death, co burial, co resurrection, and co ascension. The more we focus on kingdom. The more we make others a priority. The more we love on others at the expense of self.

The more ready you are, for more.

“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”
Philippians 2:5-8
