Twisted Scripture

This stuff really irks me, to the point I might need a break from FB. Here is an example of how the gospel gets twisted as a false narrative. The lies get more and more creative. 🤬🤢🤮

I recently saw someone post this verse to say all are saved. At Pentecost in acts chapter 2 Peter quotes the prophet Joel:

“And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” acts 2:16-17

The person was saying that since the Spirit has been poured upon all flesh, they are all saved. Well, at the end of this same set of verses Peter is STILL quoting Joel (who is quoting The Lord):

“And it shall come to pass that everyone WHO calls upon the NAME of the Lord shall be saved.” acts 2:21

Everyone isn’t saved. Everyone WHO calls upon the name of Jesus (Isaiah 45:22-25) … is saved. 😊

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Even if we want to suppose that this verse means His Spirit rests upon all mankind … we are saved by the Spirit within, not upon (Col 2:13; Eph 2:5).

Just ask Judas. He operated in power without salvation (Luke 9:1). The 11 disciples weren’t saved until the locked room, after the cross, where Jesus breathed life into them.

Friends. The devil is getting saved and extremely gifted people to buy into this garbage. Many people of The Lord have now become double agents working two different kingdoms. Above all things. Please guard your heart.
