Until The Day of Completion

This just hit me ...

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion 👉 at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

I believe in this verse Paul is thankful for the work The Lord is doing in the hearts and lives of the believers, and is referring mainly to the Day of The Lord where the dead will rise to meet Christ. That day we will be brought to completion, and receive glorified bodies. But, I also believe this refers to our Spirit/Faith led works.

Huh?

What we do for the kingdom today, impacts people for successive generations. The blessings we pour out will continue to trickle through time until the day Jesus returns.

  • The person healed.
  • The person saved.
  • The person who gets clarity.
  • The person who gets revelation of identity.
  • The person given hope.
  • The person who has their heart touched.
  • The person that draws inspiration from you.
  • The person removed from isolation.
  • The person set free from self.
  • The person given strength and purpose.
  • The person who reads that book you wrote.
  • The person who sees their spouse differently.
  • The person who sees Christ in you.

These things move together through time, like a raging river carving out a path in canyon rock.

This is why the rewards ceremony (bema seat judgment) is at the end of time, and not at the cross!

What we do today.

Those seeds grow. And bloom. And drop more seeds. And bloom some more.

Your work here, will out last you!
