So, I really don't care, but I was accused of mixing law and grace. I'd like to address that, and actually explain this some.
So, how do Christians enter grace?
Through faith. There is no other way.
Ephesians 2:8 (ESV)
For by grace you have been saved through ? faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.
For those under grace (believers), there is ZERO tolerance for a mixture of law and grace. Grace is full on supply (faith, strength, peace, hope, love, provision, purpose, Holy Spirit, etc), and we as believers operate from a position of full response.
Any mixture of our own self righteous works and God's righteous supply .... will only give the sheep the runs.
Yet.
Those not ? IN faith (unbelievers) are still under law.
True, Gentiles were NEVER given the 613 laws. But by rejecting the work of the cross .... they have become a law unto themselves (they have become their own version of the law) and will stand judgment apart from Christ for such.
Pointing to future judgment of non believers, while talking about the saving grace of God and the spiritual freedom of the sons of God .... isn't mixture, it's simply full on truth.
Romans 2:12-16 (ESV)
God's Judgment and the Law
12 For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a ? law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.
