Wage Warfare

If The Lord has ever given you a prophetic dream, vision, or image within your own heart … this is a powerful word for you (and for me too).

Joseph had 2 strong prophetic dreams (Genesis 37:1-11), and when he shared these dreams with his family, Joseph went through a series of events that greatly challenged his heart.

Left for dead. Slavery. False accusation. Imprisoned. Forgotten. Alone.

“His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; until what he had said came to pass, 👉 the word of the Lord tested him.” Psalm 105:18-19

Yes. Until what was promised came to be, the 👉 word of The Lord tested the heart of Joseph.

Not the Old Testament.
Not the New Testament.

This was before Moses.
This was before Torah.

This story itself is IN Genesis, Joseph didn’t have that book to read. 😂

The DREAMS themselves tested Joseph. In fact, the dreams and tough circumstances prepared the heart of Joseph for promotion to second in ALL the land of Egypt to bless his own family (as was promised).

Yes. Joseph believed these dreams were the WORD of God, and while waiting, while in delay, while in difficulty … served everyone and every master faithfully.

Peeps. If God has ever given you a personal promise. He is carefully watching over His Rhema word and will perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).

Yet. While we wait …. we wage war against all doubt, self defeat, mind games, and assault of the enemy by holding fast within our heart knowing what is true.

And. We allow our own heart to change and enlarge in preparation for the word itself to come to pass.

“This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.”
1 Timothy 1:18-20
