Gonna’ say it. I feel a rant.
It is flat out wrong to publicly condemn famous teachers and pastors as false teachers. Folks. These are your brothers and sisters in Christ, and whether you like it or not - Jesus prayed for OUR unity just before He was crucified.
You don’t have to like them. You don’t have to agree with them. You don’t need to go buy their latest book.
But for the love of Pete and all things holy about our Dunkin’ Donuts, please STOP couching your doctrinal disagreements with “I can’t stand XYZ about (insert name here) but I’m praying for him or her.”
Is it possible. Is it at all possible, that you are the false teacher?
You aren’t called to condemn, you are called to love.
Please stop making Jesus look silly. Find the good in those you disagree with, because your theology isn’t perfect - and mine isn’t either.
