Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

When praying, too many of us only address Jesus … and we fail to consider the roles of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Father is the master planner and justly JUDGES all here in the earth (1 Peter 1:17; 1 Peter 2:23). The Father is the One setting the course/plans for your life as well as the path of nations.

Yes. This judgment (and planning) will always be corrective, restorative, and grounded in our growth and best interests (Jer 1:10).

Jesus is our intercessor praying for us on our behalf (Romans 8:34) and is the One who holds everything in our lives together (Col 1:17).

All things are made possible through Jesus and His name (Philippians 2:9-11; 4:13; Col 3:17). Yes. The shedding of His own blood has provided for our redemption (Heb 9:22), and by blood covenant … we are empowered to do the works He did and greater (John 14:12).

Also. The words Jesus has already spoken will one day judge all of humanity in terms of eternal destination (John 12:48-49).

The Holy Spirit is the doer in terms of carrying out the master plans of The Father and the work of intercession from Jesus. The Holy Spirit is our moral change agent (sanctification), as well as the life source of strength, comfort, and power (acts 1:8).

The Holy Spirit is the Ever-Ready battery that helps us go!

My point.

All 3 are Lord.
All 3 are integral.
All 3 are to be adored.
All 3 love to be addressed in prayer.

Peeps. When we know their roles, we can then ask specifically for needs to be met.
