Operating as a son or daughter from a place of pride is double mindedness and is destined to fail from the start.
Why?
Because it’s a mixed position of focus on both self and God.
Success in the spirit realm can only come from single mindedness ... or humility.
True humility is single minded reliance on anything BUT self.
Pride puts up barriers ... humility tears every barrier down in faith, trust, rest, and reliance on what we can’t see.
We humble ourselves before God and man, and God will exalt us above our problems in this earth.
